Life Coaching: Each of us is a complex system, a unity of ideas, beliefs, behaviors, tendencies, dreams and desires, just to name a few of the interdependent aspects that make-up the story of us. Who wrote the story of you? As we get older, this question becomes more and more central. My coaching methodology is designed around a careful and attentive inquiry; I want first to hear your story. My goal is to guide clients into the powerful realization that no matter how long this personal story has been told, another story can unfold that is more fulfilling and feels more “true”. We all inherit the foundational chapters in our personal stories throughout our childhood and young adulthood. My job is to help clients realize how those formative experiences are acting upon their adult life, how they effect the present in surprising ways. My clients can expect to be challenged by this work, so to ensure there is “safety” within the challenge, I meet our clients where they are. I honor each person’s current systems of belief and “comfort zones”. I like to maintain a level of emotional safety that allows each client to take the interesting and worthy risk when that is what is required to move forward. Professional/Career Coaching: specific and focused on the work life of our client. I will help determine what skills, abilities and inclinations exist through an inquiry process, and then develop a plan to achieve the goals set by our client. Whether considering a complete change of career, looking to make a lateral change, or to simply find a healthier way to stay in a current career and workplace, I will help guide you to make productive choices.
